You can apply for the CTMM here.
The application form will take at least 20 minutes to complete. We require two references (one pastoral and one friend) so please get permission to share their details before completing the form.
There are limited spaces and we process applications on a first come, first served basis, so recommend applying as soon as possible.
Who should apply? We have hosted three CTMMs to date - two in London and one in Glasgow. Participants have been part of (and in some cases led) the following ministries/organisations: various Prison Ministries, CHIPS, InnerChange, Freedom for Life Ministries (Jersey), Charis Tiwala, Restore Ministries (Sheffield), London City Mission, Acton Vale Missional Community, Christian Aid, Tearfund, Glasgow City Mission, The Lighthouse (Leeds), as well as street pastors, local outreach teams, substance misuse projects, estate Community Churches, teachers and therapists. 80% of the participants bring significant experience of ministering at the margins (social/cultural/economic) to the training. 20% are desiring to gain more experience. Everyone's contribution has been hugely valuable.
Teams: It works well if people do the training as a small team of co-workers.
- We need everyone on the training to be part of some kind of Christian community, so we know they will be supported through the training
- We need each applicant to have a good grasp of the English language - though if people are studying as part of a team that can help their understanding we are less concerned
- Students need to be able to attend all of the gatherings and to commit to watching/listening to the core distance learning between gatherings
- Students will need to write a max 1000 word reflection (or 3 minute recording) on how the course has informed their practice.
